Dear Mrs Rudge,
I am much concerned that I have failed to write to you and your husband earlier.
You will recall that my wife and I stayed one night in a most comfortable and well decorated bedroom in your stable block in early September, in order to attend a wedding at Kinver, and my choice of your home was without doubt a very wise choice.
I have also to thank you for the description of a quicker route towards Wolverhampton for our ultimate journey the following day to Bowness-on-Windermere. Everything worked out well and we met up with our friends at the hotel some 2 hours later (or thereabouts)
You asked me to confirm that the description of your property as 4*. Having travelled throughout Europe and the world many times (24 years in corporate travel with Thomas Cook, in their then HQ in London, and then for another large travel firm for 16 years arranging group travel sales incentives for large UK clients, i.e. Honeywell, 3M etc.
Although you are not a hotel the standard of accommodation and service could not be faulted, your classification in the hotel guide issued by Dudley was SPOT ON.

Myself, my sister and brother stayed at your beautiful B&B on Saturday 14th October following our cousins wedding at The Mill.
We just wanted to say a big thank you for the exceptional hospitality we received during our short stay. We were very impressed by the standard of the room we were in and thought your care and attention to the little details like a spare toothbrush etc were fantastic.
We have stayed in many B&Bs and yours is by far one of the best. We would have no hesitations recommending you to friends and family and would stay with you again at the drop of a hat - you truly deserve your 4 diamond rating!

This is an exceptionally well run B.&.B, very clean, beautifully presented with a delightful garden to relax in and a warm welcome from the proprietors. The food is excellent and each time I visit Shropshire I always try to stay at 'The Laurels'. I also recommend it to any friends or relatives wishing to visit the area. It is excellent
